Joanna Briggs

Photography began as a creative outlet for me. It was a way for me to express myself. It gave me a voice, which was a big deal for this introvert.

Using my camera was always something that empowered me to be myself. It gave me confidence. Whenever I experienced rejection or went through a hard time, I found solace in creating beautiful photos.

Then as I grew through life, I experienced heartache & loss. I lost my best friend to cancer at only 27. This showed me the true value of having beautiful photos of our loved ones. After we’re gone, photos & memories are all that’s left. This reframed how important photos truly are. Photos allow us to relive these incredible moments, feel how we felt. That’s priceless. Photos only increase in value over time.
